I’m not in need of major weight loss, probably 15-20 pounds or so to get into a good healthy range. I’m interested in any tips for balanced diets and exercise plans that you know are healthy and can be kept up, preferablly from experience. Thanks!

Weight Watchers and E-Diets are the best plans, in my opinion. They teach you how, and what, to eat to be healthy. What you learn follows you into the real world, even if you aren’t actively participating in the plans anymore.

As far as exercise goes, try some things out to see what you like. I’ve found walking to be the best and easiest to stick to (seriously – you DO get results!), and I’ve tried tons of things! Tae-Bo and The Firm are my favorite at-home programs and they provide serious results! Tae-Bo is mostly straight-up cardio but The Firm puts heavy focus on strength training, which you will need in addition to cardio! Good luck and, remember, it’s all about lifestyle changes, not gimmicks!!
