formula and obesity?
i heard there could be a link to formula feeding and obesity and diabetes in children. is there any studies to prove this? also is giving babies food to soon related to these things?
can junk food really be the number one cause of these problems? my mom said when she was little her mother cooked with tons of butter and lard and all kinds of bad things and her generation doesnt have such an obesity epidemic. she said they did play outside more then kids now a days.
any way my question is does formula and introducing solids (expecially rice cereal) too soon contribute to all the child health problems? i aprreciate your opinions and if you have any links to websites that will be very helpful thanks
Why does the CFA want consumers to get diabetes?
High Fructose Corn Syrup is in MANY products we eat and it’s absolutely horrible for us. Why would they promote something that they know is being linked to diabetes and obesity through their new advertising campaign on TV for sweetsurprise.com?
“Researchers have found new evidence that soft drinks sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) may contribute to the development of diabetes, particularly in children. In a laboratory study of commonly consumed carbonated beverages, the scientists found that drinks containing the syrup had high levels of reactive compounds that have been shown by others to have the potential to trigger cell and tissue damage that could cause the disease, which is at epidemic levels. They reported here at the 234th national meeting of the American Chemical Society.”

Hecla: The thing is, people won’t know about the products being bad if they’re being told otherwise. Othertimes, they don’t even know if it’s in the food they’re eating. I guess it comes down to how much you care about what you’re eating, and how much you’re willing to look into it.
Do you think the CFA cares about giving you diabetes and making you obese?

Should We Give Candy That Causes Diabetes To Kids?
Most commercial candy is full of corn syrup, which causes diabetes and obesity in kids.
Why should we hand out these deadly poisons in the name of “Treats” ???
